Margaret Ann (Weyer) Osmon, 78, passed from this life, on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Life's Journey in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born to William Raymond Weyer and Irene (Wolfinger) Weyer on May 31, 1947, in Bedford, Indiana.

Margaret was well educated with two master's degrees and played an active role inspiring Greene County's youth as a biology teacher and high school guidance counselor. As an avid lover of nature and wildlife she became a Master Gardner. As an adventurous young adult, she led spelunking trips and wild adventures with her family, friends, and students. While at home she enjoyed sewing and making blankets as gifts, perhaps you are one of the lucky ones. Her baklava recipe was best in class and if you ate one piece you were trying to take extras and hide them for later. But most all she was a child of God, queen of our family and taught us to follow these core values: Be Kind, Be Honest, Be Yourself, Love God

Margaret married her beloved husband, Jerald L. Osmon, on August 17, 1968. They were happily married for over 58 years. Family left to cherish the memories of Margaret include: Her spouse, Jerry; their children, Amber (Robert) Auman of Pittsboro, and Andrew Osmon of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Arbor and Parker Auman; brother, Joe Trester; sisters, Nancy Dyer, Jean Joyner, and Jane Woodward.

Graveside Services to honor the life of Margaret will be on March 28th at 11am with interment at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon, Indiana.
