Martha C. Hart, 94, of Odon, Indiana, passed peacefully away, on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. She was born on October 5, 1926 in Odon to Walter L. and Maude (Burkhart) Clinton. Martha married her husband, Ray O. Hart on July 10, 1949.

Martha was a member of the Odon United Methodist Church, Daviess Co. Retired Teachers Association and Wabash Cannonballs Camping Club. She was a Business Teacher and Guidance Counselor at North Daviess High School before retiring in 1984. Martha enjoyed spending time with family, gardening and wintering in LaBelle, Florida for 25 years.

Family left to cherish the memory of Martha include: two sons: Edwin Hart of Washington and Gary (Kristy) Hart of Williamsport, IN; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Ray O. Hart; brother, William Henry Clinton and sister, Ruth Ann Chitty.

Private graveside services will be held at Sugarland Memory Gardens in Washington with Pastor Debbie Payne officiating. A Celebration of Life will be planned by the family at a later date.
