Martha Jane Russell, 93, of Summerville, South Carolina, went to Heaven on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Agape Hospice in Summerville. She was born on June 23, 1931 in Linton, Indiana to James and Mary (Ginestet) Blakely. Martha married the love of her life, Phillip R. Russell on May 28, 1949.

Martha was a member of Grace Gospel Church in Linton. She worked many years as a bookkeeper.

Family left to cherish the memory of Martha include: one son, Steve (Susan) Russell of Linton; one daughter, Deborah (Todd) Shelton of Summerville, SC; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and one sister, Helen Frederick.

Martha was preceded in death by: her husband, Phillip Ray Russell; daughter, Patricia Fish; son, David Russell and parents, Jack and Mary Blakely.

There will be no visitation or services.
