Mary Irene Woodruff, 89, of Odon, Indiana, passed from this life, on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at The Villages of Oakridge in Washington. She was born on August 25, 1930 in Fowler, Indiana to Joseph B. and Louise (Snouwaert) Albregts. Irene married her loving husband, Waldo E. Woodruff on May 8, 1952.

Irene was of the Catholic faith. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother that loved her family. Irene enjoyed working in her flowers, working outdoors, canning and taking walks.

Family left to cherish the memory of Irene include: two daughters, Diana Natsch of Vernon Hills, IL and Donna (Dan) Harvey of Rockford; one son, David (Lisa) Woodruff of Elnora; grandchildren, Rachael (Curt) Kowalski, Derek (Resa) Woodruff, Sean (Katie) Natsch, Matt Woodruff, Jason (Chrissy) Mueller and Caitlin Natsch; great-grandchildren, Scherazada, Caswell, Mamie, Mckale, Malachi and Noah; two brothers, Dick (Cecelia) Albregts of Racine, WI and Bill Albregts of Lafayette.

Irene was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Waldo Woodruff; six brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services to honor the life of Irene will be at 12:00 Noon on Friday, July17, 2020 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Pastor Debbie Payne officiating. Irene will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Elnora.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 Noon on Friday at the funeral home.
