Michael 'Mike' Kenneth Cazel, 64, of Sandborn, Indiana, passed from this life, with his family by his side, on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Vincennes, Indiana. He was born on February 21, 1960 in Vincennes to Kenneth H. and Barbara B. JoAnn (Wolkerstorfer) Cazel. Mike married the love of his life, Kellie S. (Williams) Cazel on April 29, 1995.
Mike was a member of the North United Methodist Church in Vincennes and OOIDA (Owner Operators Independent Drivers Association). He was an over the road truck driver with 45 years of service. He enjoyed farming, trucking and especially his family.
Family left to cherish the memories of Mike include: his wife, Kellie Cazel; his son, Joel Cazel of Sandborn; two daughters, Ashlie (Randall) Kinnaman of Washington and Morgan Cazel (Troy Large) of Jasonville; four grandchildren, Blayr, Reese, Remington and Case; two brothers, Joseph H. Cazel of Oaktown and Jon C. Cazel of Vincennes; sister, Judith A. (Rex) Wilson of Vincennes; sister-in-law, Jeri Cazel of Laconia, IN; mother and father-in-law, Mike and Diann Williams of Sandborn; brothers-in-law, Scott (Becky) Williams and Kyle (Shelly) Williams, both of Sandborn; long-time friend and brother at heart, Jeff (Diana) Earley of Vincennes; aunt and uncle, Chuck and Cheri Wolkerstorfer. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mike was preceded in death by: his parents; twin brother, Patrick R. Cazel and brother, Jeffrey L. Cazel.
A memorial service to honor the life of Mike will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Scott Williams officiating. Mike will be laid to rest in Stafford Cemetery at Sandborn.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
