Nancy S. Weddle, 88, of Linton, Indiana, went home to be in the arms of Jesus with loved ones by her side at her home, on Saturday, July 25, 2026. She was born on April 27, 1938, in Linton to Steve Parola, Jr. and Virginia Mae (Fredrick) Parola. Nancy married her loving husband of 73 years, Charles L. ‘Leo’ Weddle on June 11, 1953.

Nancy was a member of Samaria Trinity Pentecostal Church. Her greatest accomplishment in life was accepting Jesus Christ as her Saviour. She worked as a Nursing Aide at several local hospitals and nursing homes. Nancy loved crafting, her flowers and canning.

Family left to cherish the memory of Nancy include her husband, Leo Weddle; nephews, nieces and many friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Emerson ‘Chick’ Parola.

Graveside services to honor the life of Nancy will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Samaria Church Cemetery in Dugger with Pastor Gary Shaw officiating.

There will no visitation.
