Neva Janice Robinson, 81, of Bloomfield, Indiana, went to Heaven on August 21, 2026 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton, Indiana. She was born on December 4, 1944 in Odon, Indiana to Herschel A. and Kathryn (Trueblood) Shafer. Neva married Donald L. Robinson on May 30, 1964.

Neva was a member of the Cornerstone Church in Switz City. She was a factory worker at RCA and GE in Bloomington before retiring in 1992. Neva enjoyed spending time with her family and shopping on QVC.

Family left to cherish the memory of Neva include one son, Bradley Robinson of Tennessee; two daughters, Rhonda McKinney of Bloomington and Tammy Courtney of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Leroy Shafer and Paul Shafer, both of Odon, Gene Shafer of Plainville and one sister, Joan Lee of Newberry.

Neva was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Robinson; her parents, Herschel and Kathryn Shafer; granddaughter, Amanda Pearson and son-in-law, Jeff Courtney.

Funeral services to honor the life of Neva will be at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Gregg Orman officiating. Neva will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday at the funeral home.
