Patricia Ann Turpen, 89, of Odon, Indiana, went to Heaven, on Monday, October 19, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on August 8, 1937, in Indiana to Ernest and Joanna (Williams) Maxwell. Patricia married Dave Turpen on July 3, 1969.

Pat was a member of the Odon First Christian Church. She graduated from Odon High School, Class of 1956. Pat worked at RCA in Bloomington for many years before working at Crane Naval Weapons Support Center in Civil Service. She then worked as a Certified Nursing Aide at Ketcham Memorial Center, retiring with over 20 years of service and then going back to work there part-time. Pat loved working puzzles, reading Danielle Steele novels, watching and cheering on the “Colts”, listening to country music, especially her favorites, Conway Twitty, George Jones and Loretta Lynn. Most of all, Pat loved her family, watching them play sports, spending time and vacationing with them.

Family left to cherish the memories of Pat include three daughters, Tammy Gardner, Tina (Randy) Rehmel, both of Jacksonville, FL and Bonita (Dion) Collins of Hilliard, FL; seven grandchildren, Brian (Lindsey) McNabb, Jr., Jack Aishe, Jill Aishe, Roxanne Aishe, Rosetta (Eric) Castaneda, Cole (Kyla) Collins and Savanna Rehmel; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Don McNabb; second husband, Dave Turpen; son, Brian Dale McNabb; daughter, Tracy Ann Drew; son-in-law John Gardner; two sisters, Fern Aishe and Norma Woodsmall.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Pat will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Micah Stephen officiating. Pat will be laid to rest in Plainville Cemetery.

Family and friends may gather from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
