Peggy L. Nowling, 66, Plainville, IN, passed away peacefully on Fri., June 15, 2018. She was born on March 10, 1952, in Daviess County, IN, to Ernest L. and Grace (Farley) Beasley.  Peggy married Roger R. Nowling on Dec. 31, 2005.

Peggy was an Assist. Property Mgr. for Jamestown Apts. in Vincennes.  She retired in 2017 with 12 years of service.  She was a member of American Legion Post #245 Ladies Auxiliary, where she served as Chaplain, and a 25-year member of ABATE. She enjoyed spending time at their river cabin.  Peggy loved horses and her special dog, Diamond.

Survivors include: her husband, Roger Nowling, four brothers: Donnie Beasley of Vincennes, Darrell (Diana) Beasley and Roger (Tracy) Beasley, both of Raglesville, and Jeffrey (Christa) Beasley of Odon; two sisters: Anna Marie (Delbert) Raber and Cindy Ryan, both of Odon; mother-in-law, Doris Kane of Washington; sister-in-law, Rita (Tim) Dyer of Washington; and brother-in-law, Dr. Douglas (Christy) Kane of New Albany.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Anthony 'Tony' Beasley.

The family has suggested that contributions be made in Peggy's memory to either the American Legion Post #245 Ladies Auxiliary or the Travis Burkhart Foundation.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Wed., June 20, 2018, at the Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Rev. Gerald Frye officiating. Peggy will be laid to rest in Sugarland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Washington, IN.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 and from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
