Richard L. "Dick" Pitcher, 66 of Linton, In passed away Sunday, July 31, 2005 at his residence. He was the son of Maurice 'Buster' and Rhea Pitcher. He was a coal miner as a equipment operator for Black Beauty Coal Co. for over 25 years retiring in 2003. He was a member of BPO Elks #866 and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1434 of Linton.

He is survived by his companion Norma McCammon of Dugger, two sons Jay D. of Bloomington and Jeff L. of Vincennes and two grandsons. Rev. Hilary Vieck will officiate the services with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
