Robert J. Aishe, 83, of Loogootee, Indiana, passed away with family at his side, on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at his residence. He was born on May 5, 1936 in Daviess County, Indiana to Marley and Pearl (Flexter) Aishe.

Bob was a veteran of the US Navy and Navy Reserves, serving as a Master Chief Petty Officer. Bob retired in 1991 from Civil Service at Crane. He was a member of the Odon VFW Post #9627.

Family members left to cherish Bob's memory include: two sons, David Aishe and James Aishe; two daughters, Cindy (Aishe) Litherland and Crystal (Aishe) Sorenson; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by: his parents; three wives, Betty Aishe, Barbara Aishe and Karen Aishe; three brothers, Chuck, Dan and Earl Aishe; sisters, Mabel Sharp and an infant sister.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon. Bob will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery at later date, with military graveside rites by the Odon VFW Post #9627.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 12 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, at the funeral home.
