Robert E. Troup, 89, of Elnora, Indiana, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Washington, Indiana. He was born on March 20, 1928 in Edwardsport, Indiana to George Vernon and Katherine (Donahay) Troup. He married Sharon Y. Bell on May 2, 1989.

Bob was a WWII Merchant Marine Veteran. He owned a trucking company that hauled farm produce and drove a truck that delivered cars out of Detroit for Ford Motor Company before retiring from Telephone Data Systems in 1990. Bob was a member of the Good Sam Camping Club. After retirement, Bob and Sharon enjoyed traveling in the states, spending winters in Arizona until health reasons prevented it.

Bob is survived by his wife, Sharon Troup of Elnora; one son; one daughter; two brothers and two step-sons.

Bob was preceded in death by: his parents; a daughter; two sisters and two brothers.

In honoring Bob's wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.
