Robert 'Bob' Harold Tucker, 76, of Linton, Indiana, passed away with loved ones by his side, on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at his home. He was born on November 26, 1947 in Linton to W. Harold and Rose Marie (Mounier) Tucker. Bob married his loving wife, Vivian C. (Veirs) Tucker on November 10, 1982.

Bob was a member of the BPO Elks #866, where he was a Past Exalted Ruler, served as lodge secretary, District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler and as an Elks National Foundation Chairman. He owned/ operated Bob's Marathon, worked at Strong's Automotive NAPA for 30 years and was a school bus owner/ operator with business partner, Mike Smith for 31 years.

Family left to cherish the memory of Bob include; his wife, Vivian Tucker; son, Rob Tucker of Jamestown; daughter, Connie; granddaughter, Rachel; brother, Louhon (Carolyn) Tucker of Naperville, IL; nieces, Heather and Holly; great friend, Dean Miller.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and daughter by choice, Buffi Veirs.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Pastor Steve Blaydes and Trent Wilkes officiating. Bob will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, October 14, and from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home. An Elks Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
