Rodney D. Wright, 62, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at his home. He was born on August 4, 1960, in Linton to Philbert D. and Julia E. (Clayton) Wright.

Rod was employed at Walmart for 20 years as Lawn and Garden Department Manager. He then went to work landscaping, mowing lawns and trimming trees. Rod loved being outside and enjoying nature.

Family left to cherish the memories of Rod include son, Corey Wright; grandson, Conner Wright, both of Colorado; his companion of 36 years, Mary Hurley; one brother, Bradley Wright and one sister, Kerri Wright, all of Linton.

Rod was preceded in death by his parents, Philbert and Julia Wright.

There will be no services at this time. Rod will be laid to rest at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, in Linton, next to his parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with burial expenses.
