Ronald N. Bell, 77, of Odon, Indiana, passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. He was born August 19, 1947, to Jake and June (Davis) Bell in Washington, Indiana.

Ron was a US Army veteran. After serving his country, Ron turned to serving his community on the Odon Madison Township Fire Department for 54 years while also working at NWSC Crane. He was a member of the Odon American Legion Post #293 and Odon VFW Post #9627.

Those left to cherish Ron's memory include: his son, Jeff Bell; daughter, Cami (Mike) Jeffers; grandchildren, Tyler Bell, Dalton (Brandi) Bell, Taylor (Caleb) Spencer, Zo Jeffers, Kenzlye Jeffers, Ansela (Marvin) Knepp, and Ezra (Alexis) Thompson; and nine great-grandchildren.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Bell.

A firefighter's service will be presented by the Odon Fire Department, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Billy Stoll officiating. Ron will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon following military graveside rites by the US Army Honor Guard and Odon VFW Post #9627.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
