IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald Leslie
Fisher
December 31, 1934 – December 19, 2025
Ronald Leslie Fisher, 90, was born to Leo Roy and Odonna (Stafford) Fisher in Raglesville, Indiana, on December 31, 1934, and departed this Earth for his Heavenly Home on December 19, 2025. Ronnie graduated from Odon High School in 1952. He married the love of his life, Sue Fisher, on June 8, 1957.
Ronnie grew up on a farm southeast of Raglesville, and he lived most of his life in or near Raglesville. In addition to being a self-employed backhoe operator and trucker, Ronnie's work career included R.R. Donnelley & Sons (Crawfordsville, IN), NAD Crane (Crane, IN), J.L. Wilson Bridge Building (Bloomfield, IN), residential and agricultural construction, and farming. Ronnie was very involved in the activities of the Raglesville Men's Club, a charter member of the Raglesville Lions Club, clearing snow and storm debris when needed, and was instrumental in building the Odon High School Memorial that was erected at the Odon Park. Ronnie enjoyed "hobby farming" raising corn, soy beans, and especially bailing hay. He enjoyed playing cards; his favorites were Rook and Euchre. He loved to hunt, fish, and tell stories about his childhood, his time in the Army, and the summer he worked the Kansas wheat harvest.
Ronnie and Sue's three sons, all of Odon, IN, are Doug (Jennie), Jim (Diane), and Dave (Sherry) Fisher; grandchildren are Angie Fisher of Paris, IL, Bailee Fisher of Newburgh, IN, Tucker Fisher of Bloomfield, IN, R.J. Fisher of Odon, IN, Whitney Fisher of Whitestown, IN, Kari (Sean) Gallagher of Odon, IN, and Damon Meek of Odon, IN; great-grandchildren are Ava Fisher, Olivia Fisher, Fallon Gallagher, Kane Gallagher, all of Odon, IN, Mason Meek of Evansville, IN. Ronnie's siblings are Vivian (Charles) Bryant of Lafayette, IN, Carol (Clarence) Miller of Odon, IN, Brenda (Harold) Dant of Loogootee, IN. Ronnie also leaves behind three generations of nieces and nephews, several family members who entered his life through his marriage to Sue, multiple friends and former co-workers, and his recently-adopted "family" members who had been his caregivers and co-residents at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sue Ann Fisher; sister, Vonda Faye Fisher and brother, Larry Fisher.
