Sherri Lynn (Wright) Wheeler, 63, of Loogootee, Indiana formerly of Linton, passed away in Indianapolis, Indiana on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. She was born in Bloomington, Indiana on March 11, 1952. Sherri was the daughter of Donald F. and Jamie J. (Usrey) Wright.

Sherri was a member of the Linton-Stockton class of 1971. She had been employed as a factory worker. Sherri enjoyed fishing, listening to music and watching movies.

Survivors include: her mother, Jamie Wright of Linton; two daughters, Christine (Dean) Radcliff of Shoals and Nichole J. (Ed) Brown of Loogootee; one son, James Lundy of Loogootee and seven grandchildren.

Sherri was preceded in death by her father, Donald Wright and a brother, Joseph Wright.

A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 PM on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Warren Shake officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM.
