Taresa D. ‘Tari’ (Frederick) Sherfick, 81, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed from this life, on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Redcrest Hospice House in Bloomington. She was born on June 28, 1945, in Sullivan, Indiana to Charles and Norma (Dean) Frederick.

Tari was a registered Nurse for over 46 years before retiring.

Family left to cherish the memories of Tari include her son, Stephen (Traci) Mehay of Bloomington; her daughter, Alison Kohlman of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Darren, Bryant, Jett, Jazzlyn and Justus.

Tari was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents, Fern and Virgil Dean.

Honoring Teri’s wishes, cremation has been chosen and there will be no services.
