Tina D. (Chambers) Peterson, 45, of Odon, IN, passed from this life, with her loved ones at her side, on Friday, August 30, 2019, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born on September 22, 1973, in Vincennes, IN, to Byron L. and Helen M. (Harting) Chambers. On August 10, 1996, Tina became the wife of Shawn Peterson.

Tina was a member of the Plainville Christian Church and she was a participant in Emmaus Walks.  She worked as a Teacher's Assistant for preschool and elementary school and loved working with children. As a baseball mom, Tina enjoyed watching her son play ball and other baseball and softball games, as well.

Family members left to cherish Tina's memory include: her husband, Shawn; a son, Gabriel Peterson, at home; and four sisters: Denise (Larry) Fitzgerald, Odon, Tammy (Keith) Petry of Evansville, Melissa Miller of Odon and Michelle (Dan) Wilson of Huntingburg.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at the Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon, with Ashely Shurtz officiating.

Family and friends may call from 3:00 PM on Wednesday, until the hour of service at 7:00 PM, at the funeral home.
