Tyson J. Wilkie, 40, of Plainville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016 in Loogootee, Indiana. He was born on December 8, 1975 in Vincennes, Indiana to Robert N. and Joyce (Wittmer) Wilkie.

Tyson was a member of the Odon First Christian Church and was employed at Toyota Manufacturing. He loved spending time with his sons, family and friends. Tyson also enjoyed playing and watching sporting events and was an avid hunter.

Survivors include: his mother, Joyce Wilkie of Plainville; two sons, Tyler and Ryan Wilkie; two brothers, Josh Wilkie and Adam Wilkie, both of Odon.

Tyson was preceded in death by: his father, Robert Wilkie; maternal grandparents, Viola and Elmer Wittmer; paternal grandparents, Norma and Norman Wilkie and a beloved uncle, Max Wittmer.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Plainville Christian Church with Ashley Shurtz officiating. Tyson will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 7 and from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM on Friday at the church.
