Viola Fern Gee, 87, of Washington, Indiana, formerly of Elnora passed away Friday, May 25, 2007 at the Memorial Hospital in Jasper. Born in Martin Co., on February 3, 1920, she was the daughter of John and Meda (White) Blake. On December 22, 1956, she married Charles E. Gee.

Viola was a homemaker and a member of the Elnora Wesleyan Church. She was survived by one son, Danny Gee of Elnora, one grandson Charles Ray Gee and one granddaughter Danielle Gee both of Elnora, two great grandchildren, Sara Rose and Brianna Gee.

Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Gee, (June 23, 2001) two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Funeral Home in Linton from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M. EST Wednesday, May 30, 2007. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. EST with Rev. George Charles officiating. Burial will follow at Sugarland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Washington, Indiana.
