Vivian Ruth Evans, 94, of Odon, Indiana, went to Heaven with family by her side, on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. She was born on August 11, 1929 in Raglesville, Indiana to John Alvin and Forrest (Riggins) Beasley. Vivian married the love of her life, Bobby C. 'Bob' Evans on June 1, 1947.

Vivian was a member of the Raglesville Frady United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker, a saleswoman at Odon Clothing, Odon Variety Store, Clothes Patch and also worked in the elementary school cafeteria.  Vivian was an amateur beautician and enjoyed working outdoors. She loved volunteering at Ketcham Memorial Center, Generations and Parkview Village Christian Care.

Family left to cherish the memory of Vivian include: three sons, J.D. (Ginger) Evans of Crossville, AL, Alan (Penny) Evans of Odon and Neal (Michelle) Evans of Piedmont, SC; two daughters, Kathy (Dwayne) Ainscough and Robin (Mark) Minett, both of Odon; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Vivian was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Bob Evans; brothers, Carl Beasley and Ernest Beasley.

Funeral service will be a private family service. Public visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with burial following in Raglesville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
