William Earl 'Bill' 'Frog' Anderson, 68, of Linton, Indiana, went peacefully to Heaven with his loving family by his side, on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on July 21, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan to Alva 'Toby' and Betty Jean (Bennett) Anderson. Bill married Rebecca (Ferree) Anderson on July 3, 1982.

Bill retired in 1995 from the US Army after 14 years of service to his country. He then worked as a welder until 2018. He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Family left to cherish the memory of Bill include: his wife, Rebecca Anderson; three sons, Shane Anderson, Christopher Anderson of Jasper and Elijah Anderson of Dugger; one daughter, Kristine (Dan) Morris of Ellettsville; grandchildren, Alexis Anderson of Florida and Mikey Lewis of Ellettsville and one brother, James Anderson of Linton.

Bill was preceded in death by: his parents; step-mother, Barbara Anderson; infant grandson, Matthew Michael Lewis and infant granddaughter, Gracie Belle Lewis.

Funeral services to honor the life of Bill will be at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Danny Hillenburg officiating. Bill will be laid to rest in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield. Military graveside rites will be presented by American Legion Post #22.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12 Noon on Wednesday at the funeral home.
