Wilma I. Allen, 91, of Lyons formerly of Sandborn, Indiana passed away Sunday, December 24, 2006 at Lyons Health and Living Center in Lyons, Indiana. Born Elnora, Indiana on February 2, 1915, Wilma was the daughter of James and Elizabeth (Osborn) Allen. She worked as a telephone operator at Elnora Telephone and S&W Telephone Co., Sandborn, Indiana and retired as co-manager. Wilma is survived by several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother; Ernest Allen and one sister; Hazel Williams. Friends may call at Sandborn United Methodist Church, Sandborn, Indiana from 4:00 to 8:00 CST PM Wednesday, December 27th and from 9:00 CST AM until the hour of service Thursday, December 28th. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 28th at 10:00 CST AM with Rev. Tom Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at the Stafford Cemetery in Sandborn.
