Carole E. (Zigler) Leonard

Carole E. Leonard, 82, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. She was born on October 15, 1940, in Odon, Indiana to Ralph W. and Elpha M. (Porter) Zigler. Carole married her husband of 64 years, James A. Leonard, Jr. on April 26, 1958.

Carole maintained a strong faith and trust in God throughout her life. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her home, family and pets.

Those left to cherish the memories of Carole include her husband, Jim, son, Geoff Leonard-Robinson and Steven of Texas, daughter, Robin Terrell and Larry of Odon, grandchildren; Dustin, Darin, and Jason Terrell, great-grandchildren; Briceton, Jocelyn and Ricky.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donald and Carl Zigler; sisters, Anna Stuffle and Martha Ellen Zigler.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25th at the Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Jeff Williams officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24th and from 12:00 noon till service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery following the service on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions to honor Carole’s love of animals may be made to the Greene County Humane Society. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
