David Michael 'Howie' Howard

David Michael ‘Howie’ Howard, 47, of Odon, Indiana, passed away with loved ones by his side, on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Washington, Indiana. He was born on April 24, 1972 in Washington to Doyle Eugene Howard and Betty (Doyle) Winklepleck. Howie married his loving wife, Teresa L. (Summerlot) Howard on June 20, 2010.

Howie worked at Berry Plastics for 16 years and then Isoflex at Washington. He enjoyed hunting game and arrowheads, playing pool and especially his family time. Howie was a huge fan of NASCAR ’Jeff Gordon’ and Cincinnati Reds baseball.

Family left to cherish the memory of Howie includes: his wife, Teresa Howard; his mother, Betty (Ray) Winklepleck of Odon; son, Kyle Howard of Indianapolis; step-son, David Summerlot of Stinesville; step-daughters, Megan Smith of Odon, Pamela Cimamon and Christy Cimamon, both of Bloomington; eight grandchildren; brother, Clay Howard of Shoals; step-sisters, Dana (Bob) Winklepleck Hunley of Dugger and Stacy Winklepleck of Ellettsville, IN; several nieces and nephews.

Howie was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Eugene Howard and infant son, David Eugene Howard.

A funeral service to honor the life of Howie will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 4, 2019 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Pastor Adam Cissell officiating. Howie will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon.

Family and friends may call from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.

For those who wish, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
