DeWayne Wagler, 70, of Odon, Indiana, went to meet his Saviour, on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Bloomington, Indiana. He was born in Daviess County, Indiana on January 31, 1950, to Noah and Pauline (Graber) Wagler. DeWayne married Joan (Graber) Wagler on February 13, 1972.
DeWayne was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He was a carpenter and co-owner of Wagler’s Bicycle Sales.
Family left to cherish the memory of Dewayne include: his wife, Joan Wagler of Odon; seven sons, Darrell (Lydia) Wagler of Montgomery, Randall (Lynetta) Wagler of Odon, Delmar (Regina) Wagler of Montgomery, Nathan (Bertha) Wagler of Odon, Marcus (Madonna) Wagler of Loogootee, Gerald (Ida) Wagler of Odon and Aaron (Linda) Wagler of Odon; one daughter, Rosina (Marcus) Knepp of Montgomery; thirty-two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; mother-in-law, Margaret Graber; six brothers, Floyd (Martha) Wagler, Loren (Mary Catherine) Wagler, Paul (Rosa) Wagler, Glen (Fannie Mae) Wagler, Norman (Laura Rose) Wagler and William Wagler; four sisters, Lillie Mae (Ivan) Wagler, Mary Lou (Verlin) Stoll, Anna Marie (Jeff) Graber and Leah Ruth (Darrell) Stoll.
DeWayne was preceded in death by: his parents; granddaughter, Amy Lynn Wagler; father-in-law, Ben A. Graber and sister-in-law, Rosemary Wagler.
Visitation will be held from 12 Noon – 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM, 12 Noon – 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13 at Shiloh Place in Odon. Social distancing guidelines will be followed.
A funeral service by invitation only will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Shiloh Place in Odon with Home Ministers officiating. DeWayne will be laid to rest in North Bogard Cemetery in Odon.
All arrangements have been entrusted to Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon.
