Donald E. Laughlin
Obituary
Donald E. Laughlin, age 90, of Odon, Indiana peacefully passed away, on Monday, June 6, 2022. He was born July 3, 1931 in Harrodsburg, Indiana to Melvin and Carol (Edwards) Laughlin. Donald was united in marriage to Bonnie (Flynn) Laughlin on December 23, 1949.
Donald was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Christian Science Church in Bloomington, Indiana. He was a Division Manager in the Public Works Department for NSWC Crane before retiring in May of 1991. Donald enjoyed golfing, fishing, and IU basketball.
Family left to cherish the memory of Donald include: two sons, David (Janet) Laughlin of Guntersville, Alabama and Stephen (Nina) Laughlin of Odon; one daughter, Melissa (Troy) Woodruff of Fishers, Indiana; five grandchildren, Gabriel (Anjuli) Laughlin, Tyler (Sondra) Laughlin, Candice (Randy) Acer, Austin Woodruff, Evan Woodruff; and three great-grandchildren.
Donald was proceeded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Bonnie Laughlin; one son, William Laughlin and one brother, Richard Laughlin.
There will be no public visitation or services at the request of Donald. He will be laid to rest at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon at a later date.
