Larry Dean Fisher

Larry Dean Fisher, 75, of Odon, Indiana, went peacefully to Heaven, surrounded by his loved ones, on November 3, 2021 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. He was born on May 30, 1946 in Washington, Indiana to Roy and Odonna (Stafford) Fisher. Larry was married to Jana Sue (Ferrell) Fisher on November 23, 1977.

Larry was a member of the Pleasant Hill Community Church, Raglesville Men’s Club and NRA. He was employed at Crane as a Nuclear Engineering Technician for over 35 years before retiring.

Family left to cherish the memory of Larry include: daughter, Toby (Jason) Pridemore of Bloomfield; son, Kevin (Cassie) Fisher of Chapin, SC; grandchildren, Aiden, Braylen and Caitlyn Pridemore, Roxanna, Reva and Rayna Fisher; brother, Ron (Sue) Fisher of Odon; sisters, Vivian Bryant of Wallace, IN, Carol (Clarence) Miller of Odon and Brenda (Harold Lee) Dant of Loogootee.

Larry was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Jana Fisher; sister, Vonda Faye Fisher and brother-in-law, Charles Bryant.

A memorial service will be at 6:00 PM on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Brenden Dyer officiating.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 2:00 PM until time of service at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Hill Community Church or the Raglesville Men’s Club, c/o Meng Family Funeral Home, 616 E. Elnora St., Odon, IN 47562. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
