Lucille G. (Foster) Ronk

Lucille G. Ronk, 89, of Odon, Indiana, passed away at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon on November 24, 2022. She was born on December 22, 1932 at Sandborn in Knox County, Indiana to Basel O’Neal and Anna Lee (Russell) Foster. Lucille married William Ronk II in 1969.

Lucille was a member of the Odon Church of Nazarene. She worked at RCA in Bloomington, Jeans Café in Odon and Dearmin’s Egg and Poultry Plant. Lucille enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and she loved cooking.

Family left to cherish the memory of Lucille include: two daughters, Donna E. Moffett of Bloomfield and Carolyn Sheetz of Odon; one son, Michael R. Shake of Georgetown, IL; several grandchildren and one brother, David Wayne Foster of Linton.

Lucille was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, William Ronk II; brothers, Donald R. Foster, Prentice Foster, Billy Raymond Foster, Gerald Lee Foster and infant Malcolm Foster; sisters, Bernice Marie Boatman, Mary Jane Morgan and infant Elizabeth Foster.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon. Lucille will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon.

Family and friends may call from 1:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
