Ricky A. Laughlin

Ricky A. Laughlin, 65, of Odon, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Jasper Memorial Hospital. He was born in Washington, Indiana on July 22, 1955 to Leo E. and Imogene R. (Kelsey) Laughlin. Ricky married his sweetheart, Kay (Matthews) Laughlin on December 18, 1976.

Ricky was a member of the Odon VFW Post #9627. He retired in 2015 from the Indiana Department of Transportation. Rick accepted Christ into his life while in the hospital.

Family left to cherish the memory of Ricky include: his wife, Kay Laughlin; one son, Brad Laughlin of Odon; one daughter, Kristin (James) Riggins of Odon; grandchildren, Bella Laughlin, Keegen Laughlin, Kason Laughlin, Trevor Riggins, Kelsye Riggins, Trace Riggins, Jayce Riggins; Lindsey Bowman, mother of Bella, Eli Bowman and Monroe Hernandez and Jody Worland, mother of Keegan and Kason; sister, Vickie Pershing of Odon; brother, Carl (Val) Laughlin of Odon; sisters-in-law, Lue Bindhammer, Sue Houk; brother-in-law, Van Matthews; several nieces and nephews.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents and mother and father-in-law, Ward and Grace Matthews.

There will be no services or visitation at the request of the family.
