Vera Pauline (Bush) Isaac

Vera Pauline (Bush) Isaac, 92, of Plainville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. She was born on August 19, 1930 in Cornettsville, Indiana to Paul and Mary K. (Harbstreit) Bush. Vera married Raymond “Spin” Isaac on January 7, 1951.

Vera was an active member of the Community of Christ Church (Harbstreit Hill). She was a homemaker, a lover of animals and enjoyed caring for them.

Family left to cherish the memory of Vera include: daughter, Paula K. (Leonard) Counsil of Plainville; grandchildren, Jamie (Darrell) Wagler of Plainville, Tyler (Jenilee) Counsil of Washington; Great-grandchildren, Isaac Wagler, Roland Counsil, Molly Counsil, Audrey Counsil, Rose Counsil and Quint Counsil.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond; two brothers, Marvin and Maurice; four sisters, Margaret(infant), Shirley Goodwin, Emma Sellers and Pearl Sullivan.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the Community of Christ Church. Following the Service Vera will be laid to rest in Plainville Cemetery in Plainville.

Family and friends may call from Noon until the time of service at 2:00 pm on Tuesday at the Community of Christ Church.

Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Vera to Community of Christ Church. Envelopes will be available at the church.
