Willard Wagler

Willard Wagler, Sr., 89, of Odon, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on December 5th, 2020 at the Jasper Memorial Hospital. Willard was born to David and Katie (Graber) Wagler on March 23, 1931 in Daviess County, Indiana. Willard married Martha (Knepp) Wagler on November 24, 1951. He had 9 children, 38 grandchildren, and 90 great-grandchildren.

Willard was a member of the Mt. Olive Mennonite Church. Willard lived his life to the fullest. He was a sweet, caring man that loved the Lord Jesus. His family was very special to him and he loved nothing more than for them to stop in for a chat. He was always ready to give a witty remark or a good laugh when needed and he was known for his generous hospitality. He was a farmer at heart and his favorite hobby was collecting antiques.

Willard is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Martha Wagler and his children, Dale (Rose) Wagler, Karen Sue (Ray) Lengacher, Gary (Diane) Wagler, Darrel (Lynn) Wagler, Willard, Jr. (Annetta) Wagler, Ellen (Mark, deceased) Graber, Mary (Raymond) Marner, Travis (Renee) Wagler, and son-in-law, Darrel (Naomi, deceased) Stoll.

Willard was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and sisters, daughter, Naomi Stoll, son-in-law, Mark Graber, granddaughter, Beth Ann Lengacher, great-granddaughter Grace Willow Graber, and grandson-in-law, Mark Tristan Stoll.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020 at Mt. Olive Mennonite Church in Montgomery. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 5:00 PM-8:00 PM on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 at the Mt. Olive Mennonite Church.

In compliance with state regulations, social distancing and face masks are required by all attending.
